If you do not have java installed:

The above box may appear blank or display an error message instead of displaying which version of java you have installed.

You will need to have java installed to be able to use ANYwebcam.

Applet Not Loading/Grey Left Side of Screen

If you are receiving a grey box on the left side of your screen where the cam/chat list should appear it indicates there is an issue with your Java installation.

If you continue to receive the grey box after trying all of the items in the above link please contact us at http://support.anywebcam.com.  Please be sure to include your Settings log.  The information in this log will help us identify and troubleshoot the issue.

Your Settings Log is located in a file named Log.txt. This file is located in your AWC_Username directory. The location of this directory can vary depending on your operating system and version of java.  In most cases it is located in C:\Documents and Settings\<your windows username>\.

You can open the file using Notepad. Copy the contents of the file and include it in your support incident.
