Now that there can be no confusion about parties as has been said – the 121th annual AWC FL party is coming May 4th & 5th in Alachua FL. We are gonna have a party & we are celebrating in style. The band hasnt been chosen as I want input on what kind of band I should have. Anything but country as my bar is rock n roll. Southern rock, Classic Rock or even metal I can do. I own a country bar down the road but only have bands there the last weekend of the month so this date doesnt coincide. Come celebrate with us all. It is at the Spindrifter Lounge at exit 399 off I75 . Reservations need to be made asap for the Americas Best Value Inn ( formerly Days Inn) They give a discount if we rent more than 10 rooms for a group rate of $55/ room for 2 persons & the Royal Inn right behind it for $45 a night. Only difference is there is no phone @ Royal Inn which in this day of cell phones isnt needed. Also this year seems as though many enjoyed their stay at the Quality Inn about a mile down the road. I am not sure about cost there but lottery bob(with all tye numbers) can help ya there. last party was a hoot & thanks to bob & Cleatus who along with others manpower cooked both days and couldnt have been better. you must call the Americas Best value inn motel @ 386-462-3251 & talk to VIRGINIA and tell them you are with the Spindrifter Party. A weeks notice must be given for cancellations or u will be charged. The motel has undergone extensive renovations with a new owner. Plus its crawling distance so no driving is necessary after a night of partying. This years Pervng attendees are havent been announced as its too early but many wanted to know te dates to add to there busy schedules to be sure & make room to be here.
