SQL failure

Hi all,

We just recovered from a failure of one of the slave database servers. This caused alot of problems across the board mainly with the forums not being updated for some users. This also caused desktop to again fail for some users and privacy settings not to be updated.

This has been resolved and new monitoring has been put in place to ensure this kind of error does not happen again.
