This Weeks Top Cammer *UPDATED*

We've been working for a few weeks on collecting some stats about the Webcam usage on ANYwebcam.com and building a monitoring system to allow us to continue to gather information. We believe these stats, and the many more metrics behind the scenes will help us improve the Webcam usage on the site in a number of ways;
- Help us better identify and reward members for their Webcamming contribution
- Help us know more about the usage patterns to better plan for new development and infrastructure, and
- Help us improve our marketing to get more people on the site and on cam for you all to enjoy

Building the capture and reporting has taken a little while but we finally have a full week's worth of data and already we have some fun and fascinating facts. In the past week (7th Aug - 13h Aug '09);
- We had 5590 unique broadcasters on the site
- Who broadcast for a combined 14,265 hours!
- S7U4RT, Boob888 and Mahalkita alone broadcast for 280 hours! over the past 7 days
- When they've been on cam CocoRosa, boobylicious and ajkirkland32044 have all averaged over 900 frames per second (of Viewer traffic)
... and much much more

I was also really pleased to see such a diverse group at the top of the cammers list ... from perfektesHasie who's only been with us for 9 days (about) through to Destiny4US who celebrated her 9 year AWC B'day (a few days ago, congrats and thank you Destiny).

I want to thank each and everyone of you 5590 who broadcast over the past week for your use of the site and your contribution to the community. I hope you all had as much fun being on cam as we did watching you ;)

This Week's Top Cammer(s)

All this great new information got us thinking and eventually around to the idea that we could combine some stats and come up with a metric that would help us recognize and reward those members who not only cam regularly, but for an extended duration and to many viewers. To do this we chose to measure the Total Frames of a Broadcaster over the period selected.

So without further ado I present you with the last week's Top Cammers:

HappyHooker with a huge 86,812,002 Total Frames!! Congratulations HH and thank you so much for being on cam so often and enjoyed by so many ... as a sign of our appreciation we're going to award you with a Gold Lifetime account.

As mentioned earlier, perfektesHasie has been doing a lot of Camming even thought she's only been with us a short time. With a whopping 57,651,265 Total Frames for the last week I'm sure you all agree she deserves a Silver Lifetime.

Guy's don't feel this is all about the girls. Alphaeffe1971 with 16,155,790 Total Frames has also won himself a Gold Lifetime upgrade, well done and thank you.

We've one more special prize to award, this one is only open to Gold Members .... drum roll please ... ;)

Mahalkita with a fantastic 41,959,908 Total Frames and over 68 Hours on cam this past week, you've won $100 cash :)

Well congratulations and Thank You all who've Broadcast over the past week. I hope you take this whole promotion for what it really is, a celebration and reward for those who've contributed so much and hopefully an incentive for some of you to get on cam more often. We hope to be reporting on the Top Cammers every week, as well as giving out Upgrades and Cash rewards.
