Login Difficulties

First and foremost let me apologize for the inconvenience many of you have had logging into the site in the past few days. We have been acutely aware of the problem and frustration it's causing and are working as hard as possible to rectify the situation ASAP.

Sometimes these problems are difficult to diagnose and leave you wondering were the problem lies. Rest assured at this time it's our end, not your connection, computer or otherwise.

By way of explanation, not excuse, after the recent site upgrades we've encountered a number of concurrent server, software and database problems not revealed in the extensive testing. There have been multiple crashes of our databases and application servers which have resulted in it being difficult for you to login, broadcast and caused slow page loading. Finally, compounding the problems we have a number of servers awaiting hardware repairs at the moment which is exacerbating the load problems which should be resolved first thing next week.

Each incident we have reacted to and resolved as soon as possible. Additionally the Development guy's have been busily working on fix's and improvements to the code to minimize the new load on the servers created by the new media features.

Resolving these problems are our #1 priority at the moment and we'll continue to work as hard as possible until the site is back and as stable as possible. We appreciate everyone's patience during these frustrating times.
