Site instability and international character issues

Hi Everyone.

As you have probably noticed we have had some issues with the site today. The issues have been based around our database cluster which has now been upgraded. None of your data has been lost.

We are also aware that there are some problems with the international characters on the site. We are currently working on this and hoping to have it fixed as soon as possible.
