Site Update: New Applet (cam/chat list)

The applet 4.0.24 (cam/chat list) has now been updated.  We believe that this update should fix a lot of the freezing issues that members have been experiencing. 

This update also adds support for wheel mouse scrolling in the cam/chat list.

If you continue to have freezing issues please enter a support request at http://support.anywebcam.com.  Be sure to include your accurate system specifications, such as connection type, RAM, etc.  Also, please provide us with your Settings Log after it happens.

To access the Settings Log:

  1. Select the Settings icon (the hammer and wrench/spanner icon located next to the chat icon).
  2. Select the Log tab.
  3. Copy the information and paste it into a response to this support incident.

If you are unable to use the Settings button to locate the log please do the following:

Your Settings Log is located in a file named Log.txt. This file is located in your AWC_Username directory. The location of this directory can vary depending on your operating system and version of java.  In most cases it is located in C:\Documents and Settings\<your windows username>\.

You can open the file using Notepad. Copy the contents of the file and include it in your support incident.

Once we have these details we will be better able to determine what is causing the issue.
